Cycling is my passion. I can honestly say that cycling has made me a happier person. The benefits of cycling are so great that when we created Ycycle, it all made sense, we looked at each other and said “Why Cycle, Why Not!” As a long time rider, racer and tourist, I want to put back into cycling some of the energy and education gained. Now, I am even happier to educate and introduce other people to this sport. I love to have fun and I love to ride bicycles.

I've been a cycling enthusiast since grade school. I progressed from BMX through cruisers, early 26 inch mountain bikes, and more recently to road, SS, and 29ers. I have been lucky to have been mentored by a host of talented and dedicated cyclists, Ycycle's own Myron Dong among them. I compete occasionally in local events, and participate in several riding groups. I hope by contributing to Ycycle, I can encourage more people to enjoy the freedom and fun on a bicycle.
Cycling Highlights include pedaling the South Island of New Zealand, as well as extended rides in the hills of Tuscany. Closer to home, I've made pilgrimages to Moab, Grand Junction, Bend, and many in between. I also spent a year living and cycling in the greater Lake Tahoe area.

It's true, I have way too many hobbies. How is a guy to choose between all the fun things to do out there? Buy some new carbon handlebars, a guitar, some "go-fast" car parts, a new power tool? Seriously, it's impossible to choose! Thankfully my wonderful wife allows me to indulge in many area's that I find entertaining and that I enjoy. Cycling has quickly become a favorite. From a full suspension to a single speed 29er... hey, just come out and ride. I love the atmosphere that surrounds the sport, the people that I meet on the trails, and all of the time outdoors doing what we all love to do... ride!
Whether it's a road bike, mountain bike, beach cruzer, or a tri-cycle (really!) just get out there and ride. You may just find yourself out on a trail laughing and smiling like you were a kid again. Now who doesn't miss that? Get out here, we'll make room for ya!
